The fast emerging start-up scenes in Southeast Asia

Think start-ups in Southeast Asia, and big cities such as Singapore, Ho Chi Minh and Kuala Lumpur probably come to mind.

But with the rise of digital nomads, a growing number of smaller cities are emerging as thriving hubs for innovation and start-ups, whether companies are in coworking spaces or their own offices.

Find out why Malaysia’s Penang, Thailand’s Chiang Mai, Vietnam’s Da Nang and Indonesia’s Bandung – along with the island of Bali – have put themselves firmly on Southeast Asia’s start-up map.
